Dimsum at Lye Lye Restaurant

Last Saturday i had breakfast with my colleague. i attended just because they said Penang has nice Dim Sum everywhere (I am Butterworth people). That’s why i been attracted and take breakfast with them.

This Dim Sum is located at the foot of the Penang Hill named Lye Lye restaurant As the pic shown below.

This is the restaurant!! We arrive there around 8am.

Once we just found a seat, I used 1000km/j speed to choose dim sum. These are all the Dim Sum, look delicious!

I call this Dim Sum as Jacky Wu (无中馅), which mean nothing inside. The skin is too thick.

This is all my favourite, chicken leg, pork tulang.

After I taste all the Dim Sum quite soso lar. Haha, the choice also limited. I think there is all Dim Sum the restaurant have as the pic above.

Second Visit? nope.. coz the choose is too limited. quite few only, and taste soso. I cant forgive myself drive 1 hour to Penang Island to taste that.

My Trip to Kedah

I make a second visit to Kedah Padi Museum last Sunday by using my “bible”. Although I have the “bible”, but I still get lost in Kedah town. And at the end, I use the my mouth to ask people there to get there. haha..

This is the only food I ate there, Goreng Pisang! quite nice. i bought it when i was asking the way to Padi museum. Abo Pai seh ma. hehe.

Finally I arrive Padi Museum! I spend around 1 hour in town, but never mind, i took some experience on it. haha..

And this is the opposite of Padi Musuem, which is Gunung Keriang. What i heard from my friend is the mountain is look like an elephant, so the people there also call it “Elephant Mountain”.

This is all the historical things at the ground floor.

This is the most attractive part in Padi Mesuem. Is a surrounding wallpaper. I like this. It is at the top of the musuem, and need to go up by the stair.

I back home after visit Gunung Kering. Sure wonder why do not have the place’s photo, because… nothing to take. haha.. And this is the “special” photo i would like to share

In conclusion, I more prefer Lai Fah Garden than here. but ok too, because can see many of “padi”. hehe..

YU SHANG Porridge – Chi Qiong Street

This is strongly recommend by my brother, “HON KEE FAMOUS PORRIDGE”.
every time my brother go to Kuala Lumpur, he sure want to eat this porridge, especially “Yu Shang Porridge”.

So this time I also took the chance to taste it~
When I arrived KL, it was around 5am morning, so i straight walked to chi qiong street to taste it

I wonder this porridge was began since year 1959! quite a long time.

And it also ever reported in news paper

This is the environment of the porridge restaurant. quite ok.

This is the YU SHANG(fish) porridge, which is over my expectation. It is cheap, big and delicious!

I am very recommended for this Yu Shang porridge. this is the Yu Shang plate. the price also reasonable but unfortunetely i forgot already. If I do not mistaken, it should be about RM7.

Second Visit? For sure, i am totally falling in love with that Yu Shang Porridge! hehe, please wait me…..

Happy Wesak

since year 2005, i will join my village’s Buddhism Association, JURU, to have a wesak walk at Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang. This year feel quite smooth. for my past experience, I always walk until nearly 12am. But this year,2009, We only walk until around 10pm. maybe cause of limited “Flower car” or maybe the traffic system become better.

Anyway, let me show some of the photo i took~

The first thing i ever face since year 2005 is half of the wesak walk team been stopped by train. Haha, quite a nice experience.

The night, moon is very beautiful. So i take the chance to take this photo “moon with the flower car”.

JOGOYA JAPANESE RESTAURANT – BUFFET

Before start my first blog related to food, I would like to say apologize about my English and the photo I took. It is really “TERUK”, anyway I still wish all of you do not mind on it and enjoy my blog, haha..

This is my first time visit to JOGOYO Japanese Restaurant And even no need to pay any cents. Hehe, because my girl friend want to celebrate my belated birthday and she treat me as my birthday gift~ sweety~

I feel really lucky, because I had booked the lunch buffet section. or else the result that i do not book will be as below. When i arrive there…(picture below)

There are so many people outside waiting to get their seats. And i just straight go the the counter there, pay the bills for two persons and get our seats~

Once i just get our seat, the first thing i did is take SUSHI and SHASHIMI! This is all of them, Look yummy! In fact I feel a bit disappointed, because the choices of sushi and shashimi are few and limited……

This is the one i feel most delicious among all the food i took and sushi counter as above. The taste like “kai1 wei4 cai4”, mean that the first thing you want to eat before get the main course.

From all the things that i eat or drink, I found out this is the one i feel most satisfy. It is really very sweet and nice!

This is steamboat with ginger soup. at this counter, we can choose few food you want and that is many flavor of soups choose.
